Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Organizational Effectiveness, the Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Associate provides support to the Total Rewards & Performance team in the delivery of performance management, productivity, innovation and other initiatives as necessary.

The incumbent is responsible for researching, planning, executing and/or supporting Total Rewards & Performance programs and projects to fulfill departmental initiatives.


The incumbent is expected to behave ethically and follow the established code of business conduct, policies and internal control procedures, laws and regulations governing Toronto Hydro.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Works independently or with the team and/or internal stakeholders to design, implement and deliver/maintain various productivity, innovation, and, performance management initiatives
  • Designs and implements new technology and/or projects to support organizational effectiveness programs
  • Reviews and assesses organizational effectiveness process effectiveness and recommends program modifications/enhancements
  • Develops, implements, and monitors measurement of organizational effectiveness processes and systems

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related discipline
  • Three (3) or more years of progressive experience supporting organizational effectiveness programs and projects (e.g. productivity, performance management, change management, engagement, and communication)
  • Experience with employee development, productivity, performance management and innovation initiatives (e.g. facilitation of training sessions, compiling reports and dashboards)
  • Experience with the balanced scorecard methodology and best practice in key performance indicator tracking and reporting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources information systems (e.g. SuccessFactors) and organizational performance management methodologies, Management Control and Reporting Systems (MCRS)
  • Experience in the development and execution of productivity improvement strategies (e.g. tracking of benefits from strategic / divisional projects)
  • Relevant certification Certified Human Resources Professional/ Leader (CHRP. CHRL), Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, Data Analysis is an asset
  • Strong experience with organizational effectiveness related technology (e.g. SuccessFactors) is an asset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint; ability to build and automate reports and use statistical methodologies for tracking performance or building models

Toronto Hydro has introduced a Hybrid Work Arrangement. This position allows for remote work up to three days per week, based on business needs.

Employees will be required to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person.

You are expected to live in Ontario and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
