Major Duties:


  • Provide administrative support to General Manager and leadership team in a fastpaced, multitasking environment.

Specific Responsibilities:


Support the General Manager and Department Managers including:

  • Manage calendar for General Manager
  • Schedule internal and external meetings and book meeting rooms
  • Assist in facilitating events for General Manager and Department Managers
  • Arrange travel for General Manager and Department Managers to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy
  • Complete project specific tasks or initiatives
  • Scheduling and managing external visitors
  • Creation of reports and summaries as required.
  • Compose and draft correspondence and divisional communications as required.
  • Work with very sensitive and highly confidential information.
  • Provide backup administrative support as required.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
  • Work in compliance with divisional health, safety and environmental procedures.

Qualifications:


Education

  • A grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Post secondary education in Business or Administration Support, a definite asset.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years related experience in an administrative support role.
  • Expertise with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and other commonly used software.
  • Strong computer, time management and organizational skills are essential.


The individual must have an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within and outside of the organization, both orally and in writing.

The ability to work with mínimal supervision and guidance in a team-oriented environment is mandatory. Individual must demonstrate initiative and innovation, be hands-on, and able to meet deadlines.
