"General Accountability:
Key Job Functions:
- Day to day support, management and optimization of an onpremise Microsoft Windows.
- Monitor Microsoft server performance, run routine server diagnostic tests, perform and monitor system backups, and perform cluster failovers
- Responsible for Microsoft Printer Server management and print driver testing.
- Managing end user incidents and request logged within ticketing platform
- Providing "oncall" support during nonbusiness hours, as required
- Developing and maintaining uptodate technical documentation/standards for the technologies supported
- Maintaining and enforcing all related IT procedures and standards
- Keeping up to date with security advisories and vulnerability disclosure by vendors
- Analyze technical problems and creates solutions involving the use of existing techniques or tools
- Assists the Senior Technical Analyst in planning new technology by formulating strategic plans, evaluating technology and recommending technical infrastructure;
- Performs systems (server) administration and maintenance by administering file/print services, system access and security and administering disk storage, electronic messaging and web (Internet/Intranet) infrastructures;
- Integrates with system and performance monitoring and job tool;
- Responsible for treating passengers and/or employees with respect and dignity and ensuring the needs of passengers or employees with disabilities are accommodated and/or addressed (if applicable within their area of responsibility) in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders so that they can fully benefit from the TTC as a serviceprovider and an employer.

Education and Experience: - A University degree in Computer Science or relevant College certificate/diploma combined with several years of experience working as a technical support analyst in a major corporate environment.
- An understanding and practical experience of Microsoft Windows Server 2019, Microsoft Active Directory, Citrix XenApp 7.x, Windows Patch Management, PowerShell Scripting, Windows printing and SSL VPN
Additional Requirements:
- Good knowledge of project management and the ability to work effectively on multiple tasks and projects under high service demands and severe time constraints.
- Familiarity with technical documentation and quality review procedures.
- Certification and designation in relation to supporting a Microsoft Windows infrastructure is an asset
- Professional attitude, sounds judgement, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent verbal, and written communication skills, proven collaborative problem solving, and strong customer service focus
- Excellent listening skills and ability quicly dissect problems, proactively disseminate information to the team and escalate when appropriate
- Strong ability to organize and manage multiple tasks utilizing effective time management skills
- Strong ability to follow through on assigned tasks/projects with mínimal supervision
- Works well with all levels of the cross functional teams, endusers, and management as well as 3rd party partners and vendors
- Ability to handle highpressure situations in a calm, professional and collected manner
- Strong desire to learn new technologies, grow with a dynamic team, and ability to manage the adaptation of new technology
- Valid Province of Ontario "G" Driver's License
- Must have or rapidly acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements pertaining to passengers and employees
