Commissionaires BC is hiring for Security/Construction Safety Escorts to work at the Mission and Matsqui Institutions.

Security/Construction Safety Escorts are responsible for the safe and secure movement of contractors at the sites.

This work is on a casual on call basis but there is a lot of work available

Shift times will be Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 4pm.

Some of your responsibilities include:

Escort individuals to and from uncontrolled areas
Prior to entering the restricted area, verifying all temporary access passes are valid
Notify the correct parties when entering the facility and when leaving
Notify the senior escort of any safety and/or security incidents (regardless of severity) that occur on the site.
Ensure that escort ratio protocol is adhered to while escorting construction workers at the site
Ensure that visual contact is maintained while escorting construction workers, maintaining the safety of everyone at the site

Your Must - Haves

Valid BC Security Licence
Have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years for clearance purposes
OFA 1 certificate or willingness to get
