Job Description:

We are looking for someone to fill the role of Dispatch Assistant.

This person will be responsible for:

Answering incoming phone calls
Providing customer service
Setting delivery appointments and contacting customers for pickups.
Dispatching driver and loads for the terminal.
Coordinating all maintenance issues with mechanics.
Working with daily inbound/outbound shipments and planning service for each accordingly.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Consistently answering the phone and dealing with driver requirements hook up information, departure times, delay information and other concerns as required
Scheduling to execute all of the terminal pick up and deliveries on time
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Track shipments for customers
Other duties as advised or required
