What you will get to do:

  • Create and maintain daily production plan, including running reports in multiple systems using defined parameters, converting raw data into useable format, loading data into production planning tool and validating data in final report before inputting into ERP system.
  • Partner with production, logistics and sales teams to either cutback/addon or prioritize current orders to satisfy customer needs
  • Monitor daytoday, hourtohour production and order changes and adjust production accordingly; communicate any issues to relevant stakeholders
  • Responsible for daily performance report, which includes forecasting inventory levels, commodity leftovers, bird weights, headcounts, and evisceration kilograms, for decisionmaking purposes
  • Responsible to schedule live receiving and distribute plan to relevant stakeholders
  • Work closely with Mississauga team, Network Planner, Network Coordinator to coordinate raw material production / movements for Mississauga plant / copackers
  • Analyze all planning data to identify production trends and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Policies, Processes & Procedures: Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Your education & experience matters to us:

  • Minimum two years' experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in a planning/operations/supply chain position.
  • Postsecondary education in related field (business, operations, supply chain)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing/production processes, preferably in the protein industry
  • High technical aptitude, with a strong understanding in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) WHMIS, HACCP, BRC
