***To provide planning and administrative support for the NFI Parts Bench Assembly and Kitting areas. Provides ongoing status of kits and assemblies required by NFI Parts Customers.WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Review daily MRP/Min Max planning reports for priority and accuracy.
- Schedule and release work orders for the Bench.
- Schedule and release outside process work orders and corresponding purchase orders for assemblies that are not built in house.
- Allocate and reserve stock to work orders.
- Interface with CSR's on status of priority orders.
- Highlight shortages due to inventory discrepancies.
- Create work order shortage list for expediting. Providing detail to Category teams.
- Update the schedule start dates to reflect anticipated receipt dates of the missing parts.
- Create rework work orders as requested by Buyers for rejected components.
- Manage open work orders to meet changing urgency in customer demand.
- IR parts required from Production through Inventory Planners, Buyer or PDC.
- Coordinate with CSR's to change supply warehouse as required.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline and/or equivalent experience
- Manufacturing background would be considered an asset
- Working knowledge of Bill of Materials and material routings
- Adept with Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to converse in a professional manner in both written and verbal communication
- Possess excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and timemanagement skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and possess initiative to seek improvements
- Motivated selfstarter with capabilities to work within a fastpaced team oriented environment
- Knowledge of Oracle will be considered an asset
