This is done while focusing on the client's needs as well as meeting the required performance and aesthetics.

Position Overview

Integro is currently looking for Forklift Operators, wanting to work day shift at our Surrey, BC facility.

Reporting directly to the Shipping Supervisor. The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklift and moving goods all around the plant.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
Years of Experience

  • 1 year of warehouse experience, preferred.
  • 1 year of forklift operation experience
Working Conditions

  • Work may involve some exposure to unusual elements, extreme temperature, dirt, fumes, unpleasant odors, and loud noises;
  • On site work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks that require knowledge of adherences to basic safety procedures and precautions;
  • Work environment requires PPE, following H&S standards;
  • Full Health and Safety training required (working at heights, WHMIS); and
  • Flexible to work overtime as required.
Job Specific Duties

  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using a forklift or tow motor;
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of products is loaded;
  • Keep appropriate and accurate records and reports for inventory;
  • Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards;
  • Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary;
  • Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary;
  • Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion;
  • Assist in physical inventories; and
  • Complete daily inspection of equipment.
