In keeping with the mission and values of the organization as a member of the interdisciplinary team this position provides assistance and support to the direct client care providers on the unit in a client-focussed environment.

Job Requirements:

Required:

Grade 12 education or equivalent required
PSW Certificate required
Previous experience in a healthrelated setting required
Good communication and interpersonal skills required
Tact, discretion and team skills required
Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history is a requirement
Experience in an Acute Care, Med/Surg, Complex Continuing Care setting and/or Long-Term Care setting preferred
Knowledge of Patient Bill of Rights an asset
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification an asset
GPA or equivalent training an asset
UFirst Training an asset

Bilingual

English and French an asset
