Veoneer Safety Systems, Inc. is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as **an Assembler/Inspector.

What you'll do

Operate production line equipment.
Investigate abnormal product and process conditions along with line stoppage issues.
Perform equipment changeovers.
Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety guidelines.
Load and maintain raw material supply for the production line.
Complete daily production logs.
Communicate with operators within and across other shifts.
5S Clean and maintain work area and complete total productive maintenance (TPM).
Respond to equipment alarms during start/stop conditions.
Record and input production data into computer work stations.
Collaborate and work effectively within a team.
Identify problem solving opportunities and provide suggestions.
Other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring

Ability to understand written instructions and all visual aids.
Ability to understand abnormal conditions.
Strong communication skills.
Quick learner and the ability to multitask.
Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
Must have strong attention to detail, a quality conscious mindset and a zero defects attitude.
Previous experience in electronic and mechanical assembly is an asset.
