The Role:
Our Service & Warranty Technicians are responsible for enhancing the Shane Homes experience by providing in home, hands on service to our customers from pre-possession throughout the warranty period.
The face of the company, our service team is in the business of making living in your home stress free and enjoyable.
The Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional experience to our customers, creating raving fans
- Attend appointments, document concerns and own the solution.
- Provide guidance and education regarding the maintenance and operations of our homes directly to our customers.
- Ability to undertake various types of repairs including but not limited to painting, drywall, caulking and carpentry.
- Complete preoccupancy touch ups to prepare homes for turnover.
- Work with and maintain relationships with subtrades and suppliers including coordination of repairs.
- Sufficient knowledge and experience in residential construction to handle various customer inquiries.
The Qualifications:
- Minimum 35 years of customer service experience in residential construction is an asset
- Ability to interact with homeowners in a calm, patient and positive demeanor under all circumstances
- Enthusiastic, positive and selfmotivated with excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong basic knowledge of residential construction
- Must have handson experience working with tools
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast paced environment
- A natural problem solver who doesn't hesitate to think outside the box
- Willingness to learn and embrace change
- Valid drivers license
