Lyons Timber Mart is currently seeking a
DZ-Boom Delivery Driver to join our roster.
You will work out of our Wellington West location. Lyons Ltd.

has been part of the community since today, we continue the tradition of being a family owned business serving Algoma as Island Timber Mart Kent's Corner, Lyons Timber Mart Black Rd., and Lyons Timber Mart Wellington.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Deliver materials to job site and customers' locations safely
Provide directions to the driver
Assist with and ensure the safe loading and unloading of the vehicle in a timely manner
Provide customer service
Maintain daily driver logs and circle checks
Abide by all company policies and procedures
Maintain a clean abstract and a valid Ontario DZ-Licence
Lift and move up to 50lbs safely and regularly
Confirm load and paperwork are accurate and well organized
Keep the vehicle clean at all times
Operate all vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
Maintain lumber yard to store standards
Interact friendly and positively with customers and colleagues
Available 7am onwards, Monday through Saturday (rotation)
Assist with other duties as required or assigned by management

Qualifications:

Class DZ License with a clean drivers abstract (MVR) and CVOR Driver Abstract
Three or more years of demonstrated safe DZ driving experience
One or more years of Boom driving Experience
Friendly and positive individual with an attention to detail
Team player with excellent customer service skills
Ability to lift 50lbs regularly and safely
Forklift license would be an asset, but not required
