Job Summary:
Verify shipments, match paperwork and audit as required


Required Education and Experience:


  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • Computer skills
  • Knowledge of all trucking specifications
  • General knowledge of load arrangements and quality standards

Essential Functions:


  • Warehouse organization, inventories, stock verification and cycle counting
  • Manage shipping and receiving information
  • Knowledge and accuracy of customer required shipping reports
  • Produce and update plant schedules
  • Knowledge of Kanban system
  • Transmit ASN's to customers as required
  • Run and verify the comparison report
  • Print packing slips
  • Create custom papers when necessary
  • Manage Chrysler Smart System
  • Manage Ford DDL/EDDL system
  • Inventory status summary
  • Record shipping analyst report
  • Responsible for complying with the requirements of the environmental policy and implementing the policy within the scope of their duties
  • Report to shipping supervisor or designate
  • Has the authority to identify areas of opportunity for improvement to management
  • Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook

Work Environment:


  • Office Environment and Plant Floor (PPE required)

Physical Demands:


  • Constant communication with employees, peers, and management
  • Sitting, Standing, Walking

Health and Safety:


  • Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures
  • Must use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the Company
