Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Officer in Charge, provides administrative support to Support Services personnel and liaison duties for the department.
(1) Prepares and processes a variety of material and information for the Support Services division.
(2) Creates and maintains time schedules for officers on CARM.
(3) Answers or forwards requests for information from internal and external parties.
(4) Prepares and amends work sheets and annual leave credit sheets for the Support Services Division.
(5) Develops signing rotation for Annual Leave, ensuring personnel are in correct signing groups.
(6) Operates Netviewer system to locate members and correspond with members in regards to the disposition of incoming inquiries.
(7) Retrieves information from IEIS to respond to requests for police information from persons authorized to receive such information.
(8) Book travel and accommodations for officers for training or business purposes.
(9) Other related duties as assigned.


Competencies
(1) Knowledge of the Support Services Division; units and programs.
(2) Complete Grade XII or Grade XII Equivalent and Office Education Certificate and/or equivalent.
(3) Minimum typing speed of 50 w.p.m. with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
(4) Good working knowledge of CARM, IEIS and Netviewer for queries.
(5) Good working knowledge of the Regina Police Association Inc. and Senior Officers Association contracts as they relate to annual leave, accumulated time, etc.
(6) Professional business telephone etiquette.

Salary:
$55,463.00-$66,607.00 per year
