Responsibilities:


Customer Service

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and positive public relations through effective communication with residents
  • Collaborate with the team to suggest service improvements based on feedback from residents
  • Maintain a professional appearance while working on the property

Administration

  • Collect rent from residents, record transactions accurately, and deposit funds monthly
  • Handle tenant applications by ensuring timely collection and pre-screening of information
  • Manage notices to residents and maintain proper documentation
  • Handle petty cash transactions and keep detailed records for submission
  • Maintain and submit various log sheets to Head Office based on deadlines
  • Complete inspections and maintenance reports, ensuring sign-offs from tenants and managers
  • Stay informed about relevant legislation such as the Residential Tenancies Act
  • Manage master keys responsibly

Repairs & Maintenance

  • Ensure building doors are secure and operational
  • Address maintenance requests promptly and supervise trades and suppliers for repairs
  • Respond to building emergencies in a timely manner
  • Conduct minor repairs and maintain an inventory of supplies
  • Ensure elevators are operational

Cleaning

  • Clean all common areas thoroughly, including lobbies, hallways, and more
  • Prepare vacant units for new tenants by cleaning and maintaining them
  • Ensure common areas are well-lit and free of debris
  • Maintain cleanliness of outdoor grounds and garbage areas
  • Conduct daily inspections of the property

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Property Management for a low-rise apartment building
  • Experience in minor Plumbing & Electrical work
  • Experience in apartment renovations
  • Proficiency in Office 365 tools and Property Management Software. Knowledge of YARDI is beneficial
  • Positive attitude with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Valid Driver's License and Vehicle
