Company Background:
Reco Services, a company within Safeline Group of Companies, provides third party customer care services for the residential construction industry throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in Ontario, Canada.
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and conduct predelivery inspections and presentations in accordance with the Tarion new home warranty program and Ontario Building Code
- Respond to the needs of builders and purchasers
- Efficiently complete all necessary documentation and reports
- Manage construction site trades staff and assist teams where/when needed
- Prepare and provide weekly summary reports of inspections and schedules
- Monitor and work directly with the site supervisors and trades staff to ensure PDI items are completed and signed off in a timely manner
- Comply with legal, legislative and corporate safety requirements
- Reporting and correcting deficiencies and coordinating all services and maintenance; ensuring completion of homeowner's concerns
- Various administrative duties as required
- Coordinate and communicate the progress and status of all projects and trade intervention requirements
Qualifications:
- A degree, diploma, or certificate in construction management, business, or a related field
- 5 or more years of experience in a customer service or project management role; (_experience in the construction industry an asset)_
- Experience working in and knowledgeable of construction and trade industries
- Must be knowledgeable with Tarion Warranty and Construction Guidelines
- Experience with PDI
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Must have own valid driver's G license and access to a vehicle
