Position:


We are seeking a hands-on individual who is committed to service and has the required leadership skills to lead their front-line staff.

Our Ness location offers both full and self-serve fuel, a modern convenience store, automatic wash and a strong customer membership base to service.


Responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Ensure a healthy and safe work environment for our staff and members.
  • Be a brand ambassador for the Coop;
  • Lead your team to provide world class customer service;
  • Communicate with our Environmental Supervisor to ensure compliance with all legal and environmental requirements;
  • Achieve financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses and profits;
  • Ensure standards of the Gas Bar are met, including customer service, cleanliness, inventory control, rotation, and ordering.
  • Provide leadership and direction to employees in accordance with company policies, procedures, programs, and overall expectations;

About You

Ideally, you will possess:

  • Prior experience in managing a highpaced retail business,
  • Above average communication / interpersonal skills (both written and verbal);
  • A full commitment to building effective teams;
  • An aptitude for marketing, leadership, bookkeeping, maintaining image standards, human resources, and strong merchandising techniques;
  • A firm, yet friendly and sociable personality;
  • A natural affinity of welcoming our members to the site, while embracing an inclusive environment for our employees;
  • An ability to work well with others.
