Position:

We are seeking a hands-on individual who is committed to service and has the required leadership skills to lead their front-line staff.

Our Ness location offers both full and self-serve fuel, a modern convenience store, automatic wash and a strong customer membership base to service.

Responsibilities for this position include the following:

Ensure a healthy and safe work environment for our staff and members.
Be a brand ambassador for the Coop;
Lead your team to provide world class customer service;
Communicate with our Environmental Supervisor to ensure compliance with all legal and environmental requirements;
Achieve financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses and profits;
Ensure standards of the Gas Bar are met, including customer service, cleanliness, inventory control, rotation, and ordering.
Provide leadership and direction to employees in accordance with company policies, procedures, programs, and overall expectations;

About You

Ideally, you will possess:

Prior experience in managing a highpaced retail business,
Above average communication / interpersonal skills (both written and verbal);
A full commitment to building effective teams;
An aptitude for marketing, leadership, bookkeeping, maintaining image standards, human resources, and strong merchandising techniques;
A firm, yet friendly and sociable personality;
A natural affinity of welcoming our members to the site, while embracing an inclusive environment for our employees;
An ability to work well with others.
