Responsibilities:


  • Planning, monitoring, and maintaining daily/weekly production schedules using work order information, equipment, inventory, and personnel availability.
  • Developing and maintaining planning tools to assist in production schedule accuracy.
  • Monitoring production capacity to report accurate lead times.
  • Evaluating, and maintaining work order job instructions to ensure relevant information is uptodate.
  • Daily duties will include tracking work orders, monitoring priorities and delivery dates, reviewing production and shipment schedules, updating labour/machine build times, and completing status reports for production progress and work in process.
  • Driving ontime delivery initiatives.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiative
  • Responsible for accurate raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels; accuracy of product data for the finished product
  • Generate Master Production Schedules and Manufacturing Orders, forecast inventory requirements, optimize inventory levels as well as help the organization evaluate inventory management
  • Close out completed project assemblies and report inventory usage and hours

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of planning/scheduling experience in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and databases, and prior experience and familiarity with ERP software an asset.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, prioritization, and problemsolving skills in order to meet departmental needs, make effective decisions and perform various tasks with changing priorities and deadlines in a highvolume, fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to work in and promote a teamoriented environment.
  • Resultsoriented, selfmotivated with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Willingness to continuously learn.
