Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Service Support Administration
- Analyses, prioritizes, organizes, and enters Intakes and other correspondences on electronic database (CRM).
- Maintains paper filing of correspondence.
- Gathers, analyses, and reports on yearly statistical data.
- Processes, prints, and distributes letters.
- Assists with questions and problems courteously and promptly.
- Obtains and conveys information as needed.
General Office Duties
- Provides administrative support for the Manager of Service Support and Service Support team.
- Faxing/photocopying.
- Types memos, minutes, and letters as requested.
- Filing.
- Keeps track of projects with the Manager of Service Support and prepares updates for the team.
- Trains new employees in electronic database (CRM).
Education and Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent; additional related training preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support to management.
- Ability to work at an intermediate level in MS Office, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel,
- Outlook, and the Internet, and willing to be trained in electronic database (CRM).
- Keyboarding skills at a minimum of 50 wpm.
- Able to operate standard business equipment including fax, photocopier, computers, etc.
- Must be attentive to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently and under pressure.
- Must be a team player, challenged by working in an environment of change, committed to the aspirations of First Nations to restore jurisdiction for child and family services, and a believer in excellence.
- Must have demonstrated understanding of Aboriginal culture and traditions.
Other Requirements:
- Must Provide Criminal Record Check.
- Must provide Child Abuse Registry Check.
- A valid Class 5 MB Driver's License and must have access to a reliable vehicle for business travel.
