If so, we have an opening for a Member Relations Coordinator to join the Central 1 Team that might interest you


What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for responding to internal and external inquiries, checking Member Relations inbox daily, and providing information regarding Central 1 and departmental programs and services.
  • Organizing meetings (both inperson and webinar/virtual), including liaising with internal and external stakeholders to plan events.
  • Assisting with the overall execution of events and projects such as quarterly member webinars and periodic system meetings.
  • Supporting Member Relations team with research, collection, and preparation of presentations for executives and facilitating related approvals.
  • Developing and preparing content for meeting invites and contributing to creating member stories and insights.
  • Demonstrating the ability to balance multiple demands and projects successfully, effectively prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines
  • Performing administrative functions for the department: review correspondence, search for background information as requested, and compose routine correspondence; prepare routine reports, coordinate schedules, book appointments, coordinate travel arrangements, respond to calls when relevant; and obtain and exchange information on behalf of others as required.
  • Responsible for processing procurement requests and invoicing for the team's activities.
  • Using website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress to publish materials to Member websites and manage permissions for new members.
  • Performing other duties to support the Member Relations team in delivering exceptional service and supporting Central 1's business goals.

What you'll have:

  • 3+ years of related experience in a largescale administrative and business environment.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work across various teams and departments.
  • Diploma in business administration, public relations, communications, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational, time management, oral and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with attention to detail.
  • Sound working knowledge and expertise in the use of computers and relevant software, including Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Experience managing accounts and contacts in CRM such as Salesforce.
  • Experience managing content for digital channels, including CMS tools such as WordPress.
  • Good analytical, research, and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, anticipate needs, coordinate work with others, troubleshoot issues, and balance and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of situations with diplomacy and confidentiality.
  • Sound working knowledge of the principles, practices, and processes involved in providing administrative support services.
  • Previous exposure to the credit union system would be an asset
