About the Role:

Corus has an exciting opportunity as an Inventory Management Coordinator in our Toronto office.

Reporting to the Manager, Inventory Management on our Traffic team, you will be responsible for managing commercial air-time inventory for broadcast television on Global and other specialty networks.


You'll be working on things like:

  • Input initial commercial loads through our traffic system (S4M) and assist the Sales team with commercial inventory inquiries and securing spots on contracts
  • Protect revenue booked and provide exceptional customer service by ensuring sponsorship placement, special customer requests, late bookings and all other revisions
  • Process program changes, assign and open inventory in a timely fashion
  • Handle program renegotiations and makegoods (rescheduling commercial airtimes when needed)
  • Manage formats commercial loads (adhering to any regulations), promotional elements, viewer advisories, described video announcements
  • Generate reports avails, client reports, preemptions makegoods, sellout reports
  • Participate in system regression testing as required
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Detailoriented, accurate and a quick learner
  • Strong team player
  • Superior time management skills, with an ability to prioritize and multi task in a fast paced environment
  • Previous experience using a traffic system (S4M) environment is preferred
  • Flexibility with working hours and approach to change
  • Post secondary education or previous experience in Broadcasting, Media, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is considered an asset
  • Previous experience working as a Traffic Coordinator or Ad Ops is an asset but not required
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an aptitude for meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Exceptional Customer Service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
