Wash Bay Attendant - Multiple Openings

Do you prefer a position that is hands-on instead of working from a desk? Would you like a shift rotation that allows time off to do the things you enjoy like skiing or snow boarding? PWTransit may have the position for you We are currently seeking full-time Wash Bay Attendants to join our team in Whistler.

These positions are full-time, working 12-hour days on a 4 day on/4 day off rotation which will include working late nights and weekends.

Hourly rate of pay is $23.66.

Duties:

Responsible for the fueling and cleaning of the interiors and exteriors of all company vehicles.

Clean the interiors and exteriors of various vehicles as determined by the Company
Fuel and check all fluid levels as determined by cleaning and fueling procedures
Clean interior / exterior of bus advertising and back lighting, report any interior lights that are not working; replace interior & exterior advertising signs when instructed to do so
Requires some lifting when "dumping" the cash container into the vault.
Perform a "pretrip" a bus for another driver
Miscellaneous general facility cleaning duties, dumping trashcans and washing floors when assigned
Cleaning engine compartments, undercarriages, wheels, and vehicle parts cleaning

Qualifications:

Must have a Class 5 driver's license or higher
Airbrake endorsement considered an asset
Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to communicate effectively with the traveling public and to report on incidents involving safety and/or service
No criminal convictions or pending charges relating directly to the Wash Bay Attendant position

Selected applicants will be required to participate in a comprehensive recruitment process which consists of interviews, drug and alcohol screening, criminal record and reference checks.

Salary:
$23.66 per hour
