Description

Directs the initial startup operation activities for a system. Including flushing, blowing and steam blows of piping systems. Coordinates the valve lineup of each system.

Coordinate functional tests with other CSU disciplines. Verification of critical interlocks.

Experienced in Lockout/Tagout

Perform field engineering changes

Record as built engineering changes on drawingsEnsure proper setup and testing of mechanical equipment as per supplier requirements

Verify mechanical equipment is operating at system design requirements.

In conjunction with the Foreman coordinate Mechanical Fitter and Mill Wright activities

Track, record and report progress on assigned systemsMaintain plant turnover documentation

Provide hands on training to client's operator staff
