What you will do:

  • Support the management of Enbridge's Merger and Acquisition (M&A) transaction processes including functional work plan development and execution tracking as well as coordinating crossfunctional workstreams and relationships.
  • Provide M&A transaction support including transaction strategy development, due diligence set up, Close/Day 1 planning and execution, and the integration/separation of assets or companies.
  • Collaborate and support the development and execution of related Transaction Services Agreements alongside deal teams prior to and following close of transactions.
  • Represent the Corporate Development Office in interactions with Subject Matter Experts at all levels across the organization as well as with external partners and consultants.
  • Responsible for updating and management of Transaction Management playbook, tools and processes and provide education to the broader organization on M&A process as required.
  • Support the analysis of operational project expenditures and prepares comprehensive reports for expense validation by project leads.
  • Prepare financial review of projects related to approved integration/separation budgets and identified transaction synergies; comparing actuals versus forecast.

Who you are:

  • University Business, Economics, or Engineering degree from a nationally recognized undergraduate program. 4 or more years of related experience in finance or project management roles.
  • Working towards a CFA, CPA or an MBA and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
