EssentialResponsibilities:
- Complete administrative tasks related to 1st checks of prosthetic funding estimates & invoices for all programs
- Initiate and follow up on requests to Prosthetic Centres &/or Members for missing information or further clarification for all program estimates & invoices
- Liaise with Members and Prosthetic Centres to gather additional information and documentation, when necessary
- Relay approved &/or declined estimates to Prosthetic Centres
- Assist Funding Coordinator with processing Special Consideration cases for all program estimates, ensuring all background information required is complete.
- Assist Funding Coordinator with weekly review of outstanding estimates by providing updates when necessary
- Participate in 1:1 meetings to identify &/or address and issues or concerns
- Collaborate regularly with other Administrative Assistants to identify &/or address any issues or concerns
- Act as backup to other Administrative Assistants when necessary
- Assist with the writing of policies and procedures when necessary
- Respond to requests from internal and external parties as they pertain to all areas under the Member Funding umbrella.
- Assist with program optimization and efficiency building initiatives
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal communication skills, and proficient writing skills for correspondence.
- Achieve a high degree of accuracy and maintain highly organized
- Be flexible to work well individually and as a Team Player.
- Perform other related duties/ projects as required
Core Skills and Requirements
- Minimum 2 year post secondary diploma in a related field
- Bilingual in both French and English
- Diligence, selfmotivation, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and with others in a collaborative team setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
