The Ward Clerk is responsible for clerical and related duties in accordance with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the Nursing Department.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of academic Grade XII
- Graduate of a postsecondary secretarial or office administration program or equivalent
- Successful completion of a recognized Medical Terminology course
- Minimum of two years experience in a health care setting required.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrated ability to function well as a team member
- Current WHMIS certification
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours of Work:
- Casual Relief
Salary Information:
$ $24.31 Hourly
