We are looking for a People Operations Manager to design, optimize, and scale our approach to HR and employee experience.

Reporting into the Director of People & Talent, the role spans the entire Global employee lifecycle, managing a team of HR specialist(s) and HRBP(s) while partnering closely with business leaders across the company.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive a progressive and positive work culture with high levels of engagement and enablement.
  • Manage, develop and design a team of HR professionals (generalists, HRBPs) as we scale.
  • Champion a variety of companywide HR programs (e.g. performance, internal mobility, etc.)
  • Ensure all HR operations, policies and procedures are maintained, compliant, and adopted.
  • Support managers/leadership with strategies advisorship to help them manage their teams.
  • Establish and maintain channels for addressing employees' adhoc questions around benefits, payroll, and HR processes.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding operations, collaborating with key stakeholders (Recruiting, IT, Finance, etc.) to ensure a seamless handoff and crossfunctional execution.
  • Oversee the implementation and/or management of all HR systems, including proper usage, data quality and privacy.
  • Contribute to special company initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations and/or HR business partnership, preferably with experience at fastgrowing technology companies.
  • 13 years of experience as an HR operations lead or manager, overseeing and developing HR generalists, HRBPs, or other relevant HR professionals.
  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment dealing with change and continuously shifting requirements.
  • Great organizational skills, high attention to detail, and an ability to complete competing priorities quickly.
  • Experience with a variety of different HR platforms (HRIS, L&D, ATS, performance management, etc.)
  • Discretion when handling confidential and personal information with sensitivity and tact.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the company (written and verbal).

Nice to have:


  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CRHA) designation is an asset.
  • Experience with HR platforms, technologies and vendors is an asset.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable Canadian and US laws and regulations governing employment and compliance
