We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our Customer Service Department based out of our Orangeville office.
Role accountabilities

  • Extreme ownership of track & trace for assigned client orders; ensure tracing board is clear and updated at the end of every shift
  • Execute defined solutions to meet Client expectations
  • 8:30am 5pm shift
  • Grow and enhance the frontend relationship with clients in the assigned portfolio.
  • Identify and foster profitable growth within the assigned client portfolio.
  • Enter all orders, record shipping details and updates accurately and in a timely manner
  • Negotiate and coordinate scheduling for Carrier Partners in service of client orders
  • Regularly correspond with the Client to follow up on freight movements, solve complex service issues, address inefficiencies, and recommend opportunities for further growth and development of the client relationship.
  • Approve accessorial charges and invoices issued on behalf of common carriers
  • Proactively communicate all freight acquisitions to the Innovation Lead
  • Cross train to ensure complete service continuity during absences
Education, skills & attributes required

  • 6 months + Experience Client Relations
  • 6 months + Experience Brokerage & Carrier Relations
  • 6 months + Transportation & Logistics Industry
  • Exceptional Oral & Written Communication Skills
  • Detail Oriented
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of the geography of Canada & USA required
  • Flexible Availability
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$ 17.00 per hour start depending upon experience


Hiring out of our Orangeville ON office.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

- customer service: 6 Month Minimum (preferred)

  • Logistics: 6 Months (preferred)
