We're in the process of an Agile and DevOps shift involving multidisciplinary and autonomous teams, where teamwork is the key to our success.

Come work with multidisciplinary teams that manage and deliver business and technology projects for the Wealth Management sector.

The team is looking for a talented business analyst to help roll out new technology as part of its business initiatives.


Your role

  • Act as a business analyst and contribute to various ecosystem projects and developments
  • Have indepth knowledge of the IT ecosystem and understand interrelations
  • Understand and document the current or target processes and work closely with several stakeholders to optimize them
  • Produce impact analyses resulting from changes caused by target processes
  • Understand business issues, identify stakeholder needs, propose and implement IT strategies and solutions, while taking into account the varied nature of files in order to complete projects
  • Prioritize work based on business value and risks
  • Collect, document, and analyze information in order to verify and prioritize the business needs of clients and all stakeholders, and ensure they are in line with the Bank's strategic orientations
  • Define and document requirements in functional specifications for solution designers and developers, including expected system behaviours, use cases, and user interactions with various systems such as Global+, FMC Pacer, R-Broker, GBFonds
  • Make the connection between business needs and technological requirements and ensure delivery of a solution that adequately meets business needs and aligns with the target architecture
  • Organize, coordinate, draft, and participate in endtoend testing
  • Identify and document information about stakeholders and their needs (problems to be solved, technical requirements, business processes, data flows, etc.)
  • Ensure the delivery of analyses and documents related to harmonious operational change management for stakeholders
  • Support business sectors and IT during each of the steps in carrying out mandates
  • Carry out various analyses (context, issues, impacts, functional, nonfunctional, informational, processes, business rules) to produce a diagnosis on gaps between the current and target situation

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience OR university certificate/college diploma and seven years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in business analysis, functional analysis, data analysis, and QC in a changing ecosystem
  • Knowledge of the Wealth Management IT ecosystem, an asset
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum and Kanban)
  • Experience with delivery in SAFe mode
  • Experience in business process management
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, and oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and facilitate decisionmaking
  • Understanding of delivery cycles and product/service lifecycles, an asset
  • Diligence and ability to take charge
  • Client focused and strong interpersonal skills
  • Team player with the ability to positively influence and motivate stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt in an environment undergoing transformation
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with partners and suppliers across Canada.
