- Lead group nutrition education sessions and collaborate with the treatment team to devise tailored meal plans
- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments, including diet histories, growth chart data, and healthy weight range determination
- Educate clients on the significance of nutrition for both physical and mental wellbeing
- Work closely with medical and support staff to provide holistic care to clients
- Assist clients in developing healthy coping strategies for stress and triggers related to food
- Address clients' anxieties around food and eating habits
- Familiarity with evidence-based eating disorder treatments like Family-Based Therapy (FBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- This position is based in Alberta
