WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assesses IEN applicant credentials, education, and experience to determine applicant's registration eligibility.
  • Collaborates with other Registration team members to ensure that qualified IEN applicants are registered in a timely manner.
  • Interprets registration policies, processes and bylaws for staff, applicants, registrants, and other stakeholders.

EDUCATION & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, administration, health administration, education or related area of discipline, or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience related to health regulation or administration.
  • Three to five years of experience working with legislation, bylaws, policies, and procedures.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience using current versions of MS Office, MS CRM Dynamics, and MS SharePoint. Experience accessing web and search engines, and ability to adapt to organizationspecific databases.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to think critically and act appropriately while ensuring that policies, procedures, and standards are maintained.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate difficult decisions in a clear and logical manner.
  • Demonstrated conflict management and resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across cultures, and in environments that demand cultural sensitivity
  • Experience in an administrative, government or regulatory body environment is preferred.
