Based on the South Shore of Montreal,
PRO-BALLAST is in full expansion and is looking for a
Welder, passionate about assembling metal products, to join their team.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

Produces compliant products according to the requirements of the job to which he/she is assigned and the applicable welding standards;
Applies metallurgical concepts (torsion, temperature distribution, etc.);
Interprets, plans and specifications to produce assemblies of average complexity;
Performs visual inspection of parts before sending them to the thermics;
Uses the different shaping equipment;
Participates in the maintenance and repair of welding machines;
Ensures the efficiency of his work in order to meet the required deadlines;
Raises any problems encountered during the course of his/her work with his/her immediate superior;
Works in a manner that respects the premises, individuals and tools;
Keeps his/her work area clean at all times;
Respects the rules of health and safety at work.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

DEP in welding or equivalent experience;
General knowledge of our products and manufacturing methods;
Have a minimum of 3 to 8 years experience in welding or other related field;
Hold a CWB in aluminum and/or steel welding with a minimum of 2 GF;
Read blueprints and drawings ;
Demonstrate execution skills with mínimal supervision;
Ability to work in a team environment.

Selfcontrol, in difficult situations, being able to keep one's temper and emotions;
Stress tolerance, effective in dealing with stressful situations.
