OVERVIEW:

Role Purpose:

General maintenance functions, maintenance repairs and upkeep to equipment, facility, yard, General store and additional properties.**
Key Accountabilities and Activities:Maintains Maple Lodge Farms buildings, yards and properties, including but not limited to:

Repairing
Pothole Repair
Resurfacing yard and parking lots
Plowing/Snow clearing
Salting of walkways and driveways
Dust control in yards
Garbage clean up
Spraying or cutting down weeds in the yard.
Completes preventative maintenance inspections, and schedules work orders.
Assist other Trades as necessary.
Other general maintenance duties as required.
Policies, Processes & Procedures

a. Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work

is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

Must possess mechanical aptitude and three years of experience in a similar role;
Working knowledge of food and meat plant regulatory standards (CFIA, etc.), GMP, HACCP, BRC, food safety, food quality, etc.;
Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), WHMIS;
Ability to excel in a fastpaced environment where attention to detail and effective multitasking is essential;
Computer literacy (MS Office).
Heavy Equipment/ Lawn Equipment experience

Education and Certification Required:

High School Diploma; Grade 12, or equivalent.
Backhoe, Skid steer front end loader Certification (training to be provided)
Valid G Driver's license required
DZ license required
