What you'll do:

Supports the Quarterly Reserve Committee and Year-end Valuation reports.
Maintains monitoring reports for both internal and external reporting.
Provides insights regarding the company's financial performance from a reserving point of view.
Builds a close relationship with company-wide partners and connect with the business partners in understanding the reserve impact on their respective portfolio.
Develops improvements in current process to improve efficiency.

What you'll bring:

FCAS/FCIA and 5+ years of P&C actuarial experience or 10+ years of experience and expertise equivalent to an FCAS.
Reserving experience is an asset.
Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong team player who is also able to work independently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ability to establish and maintain good working collaborations with various departments.
Strong analytic and problemsolving skills with the ability to work through the technical implementation details while appreciating the big picture.
Strong technical knowledge with MS Excel and VBA.
Experience with SAS, SQL and Python is an asset
