Reporting to the Human Resources Director or to the Human Resources Business Partner, the person will work closely with the human resources team and may be required to support national human resources processes and initiatives.
The person will act as a support to the human resources team for recruitment mandates, support to the advisory group and on various projects.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Assist in the full recruitment process, such as administrative followup of hiring files, background checks, onboarding and the creation of employee files.
- Create performance reports for the various human resources key performance indicators (recruitment, turnover rate, remuneration, etc.).
- Participate in the documentation of employee files related to disciplinary and other HR processes.
- Ensure that HR documents, corporate organization charts and annual calendars are updated and sent to managers.
- Coordinate certain human resources processes such as the annual evaluation process, quarterly bonus, end of probation, etc.
- Perform all other related tasks in support of the human resources team members.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or College diploma degree in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus.
- Minimum of 1year in an HR position.
- Intermediate knowledge of the Office suite (Visio, Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to handle confidential data with discretion.
- Adept at meeting deadlines and be proactive.
- Rigor and meticulousness.
- Bilingual in French & English considered an asset.
- Permanent, fulltime in office/on site position
