As a 100% employee-owned and operated firm, with over 1,400 staff members in 33 locations, we are proud to offer qualified staff with shareholding options in our company.

The Opportunity

McElhanney is seeking an enthusiastic and positive individual to join our growing hydrogeology team and work towards taking a role as the leader of this technical service within the company.

This role promises a unique opportunity for career growth under the mentorship of our senior hydrogeologists.
McElhanney's hydrogeology work is interesting and variable. Project sites include coastal, island, and mountainous environments in Western Canada. Our clients come from the public and private sectors and include First Nations. You will build and develop your technical and project management skills in a supported environment.

Occasional travel to field sites will be expected; however, many will be close to home, on and around Vancouver Island and the south coast of BC.

We're looking for a self-starter and leader, who has an interest in the business side of consulting; someone who is ambitious, yet humble, is technically savvy, and enjoys working with others.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must for this role to collaborate effectively with colleagues and managers in other disciplines and to communicate with external clients.

Join our growing community of consulting engineers and scientists, where mentorship and personal growth thrive in our inclusive, positive, and vibrant work culture.
