We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for our North American Headquarters District office located in Edmonton, Alberta.

Here's how an Administrative Assistant for our Edmonton NAHQ office contributes to our team:


Responsibilities:


  • Develops and maintains a wellorganized filing system that permits easy reference and rapid retrieval of information
  • Supports the insurance claims team by maintaining claims information including inputs, updates, and followups with clients
  • Processes documents including new business, renewals and endorsements within the brokerage software
  • Communicates with clients and broker partners to support client activities
  • Follows up on outstanding documents or actions from a variety of stakeholders
  • Assists with organizing meetings and/or special events, including arranging for catering, locations, and distribution of information
  • Assist in ensuring departmental compliance with timelines, reporting, etc.
  • Provides accurate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint support by composing and/or editing a variety of documents
  • Develops and maintains strong, customerfocused relationships with all stakeholders
  • Willing and able to work in and adapt to change

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma
  • Postsecondary degree or diploma or certificate in office administration program considered an asset
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative role or equivalent technical experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional and serviceoriented approach internally and externally
  • Ability to create, edit, proofread, and format documents/presentations
  • Basic skills in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and OneNote.
