Lambton County Developmental Services started back in 1955 when a group of parents whose children had developmental disabilities came together while dreaming of a life without limitation for their loved ones.

We focus on ability. We respect that each person's life and path are unique, and each person has different needs.

How we support people cannot be a 'cookie cutter' response, but one that recognizes, accepts, honours, and works with the individual.

We focus on quality of life, individual paths, hopes, goals and inclusion; one person at a time

LCDS is an equal opportunity employer and we value the importance of diversity, dignity and worth of every individual in the workplace.

LCDS offers accommodation for applicants with disabilities in its recruitment processes. If you are contacted by LCDS regarding a job opportunity, please advise if you require accommodation.
