Description

Reporting to the Director of Client Services, the Account (Project) Manager will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and stay within budget.

The Project Manager will define the projects' objectives and oversee quality control throughout the entire execution of the job.

The Project Manager will oversee the design, work with the vendor and support the sales team on all aspects of a custom job.


Daily Workflow:


  • Progressively build and maintain knowledge of the retail marketing industry and trends within it
  • Assist sales with proposal development
  • Provide specifications to project team members and vendors to obtain quotes and proposal/project elements
  • Support, create and validate content and estimates for proposals/presentations, where needed
  • Create project plans (using defined processes and documentation) for all assigned projects once sold
  • Effectively manage client expectations; first point of contact on all assigned projects
  • Oversee the timely flow of information within the project team and to/from the client
  • Manage scope creep ensuring implications of project changes are communicated to the client and project team; responsible for adjusting the project plan and/or budget accordingly
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive work back schedule for all phases of a project
  • Administer all client/vendor contracts and POs
  • Obtain client approvals for layouts/artwork/prototypes
  • Maintain accurate financial reporting
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings to ensure completion of deliverables, as necessary
  • Anticipate risk and monitor time, cost and quality for all client deliverables
  • Approve vendor billing and initiate client invoicing for all projects managed
  • Work effectively to contribute to a positive and teamoriented work environment

Required Experience:


  • Strong understanding of design and fabrication within retail environments
  • Custom projects within the retail or grocery industry
  • 3+ years of fabrication project management
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized and deadline focused
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Critical thinker and solution oriented
  • Takes initiative, ownership and accountability
  • Demonstrates high level of integrity
  • Ability to develop and build long term vendor and client relationships
  • Adapts to rapidly changing requirements and performs well under pressure
  • Strong team orientation with a fun and positive outlook
