Legacy Equipment is looking for a reliable, collaborative, and detail-oriented Financial Controls Supervisor to join our busy construction equipment rental Team in Edmonton, AB.

What You'll Do:


  • Take a leadership role in ensuring all processes in the rental software system accurately transfer over to accounting transactions
  • Inventory management of rental equipment, sale equipment and material sales
  • Support our group of companies with maintenance fixed asset schedules
  • Prepare and distribute reports and financial statements to management
  • Perform cost analysis and recommend process improvements for costeffectiveness
  • Coordinate with the group of companies accounting team, Branch Manager, Billing Clerk to address financial issues and inquiries from internal and external customers
  • Coordinate and maintain client files, contracts and insurance
  • Coordinate client invoicing and accounts receivables
  • Keep equipment, insurance and valuation information accurate
  • Develop best practices and process manuals to enhance operational performance and productivity
  • Reconcile customer and/or vendor accounts
  • Maintain accurate and organized files
  • Assist members of the service team as needed to ensure that the unit provides strong customer service and meets financial and other business goals

What You'll Need:


  • Completion of a college or university program with a concentration in accounting
  • 5 years experience with full cycle accounting and office administration, with a focus on inventory management
  • 3 years' experience managing direct reports with proven people management, relationship building, and leadership skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office and inventory systems
  • Maintain continuous professional development to acquire skills and knowledge to optimize personal development and job growth
  • Exceptional financial reporting, budgeting, strategic planning, and analysis skills
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, problemsolving and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask effectively while meeting challenging deadlines

$70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
