Part-Time Team Leader - London, ON, Canada - Healthy Planet
Description
Our dynamic and talented Team Lead Health Consultants leverage their leadership skills, retail sales background and passion for natural wellness to support their Store Management Team in leading the store sales team to exceed sales goals, create awesome Community Member experiences and represent the Healthy Planet Stores with pride.
Make sure all customer complaints are addressed and handled professionally, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.Creatively address merchandise displays in windows, showcases, and on the sales floor to attract attention and promote sales
Conduct one-on-one and/or small group training presentations for Sales Associates on product knowledge, store activities, and established policies and procedures
Accurately monitor inventories and the flow of merchandise
Use selling techniques such as add on sales and describing technical information to customers to enhance salesmanship and reach store and position sales goals; use these techniques to train other employees
Support store operational activities including processing transactions, product ticketing, shipping/receiving, product flow, floor change-outs, sales/markdowns and store up-keep
Work in collaboration with Store Management to help develop a team through our core values and cultural platforms.
Collaborate with Store Management to provide coaching and constructive feedback to Team Members.
with a background in retail and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
An eye for merchandising design and desire to take risks to showcase product in creative, innovative ways
Excellent verbal, written English and interpersonal communication skills
Open availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, store openings and closings to meet the needs of the business
Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office software packages and email
Strong knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
Ability to enforce new sales operations, techniques, policies, and strategies.
Some knowledge of cost analysis and budgets.
Minimum 3+ years' retail or customer service management experience (Keyholder at minimum)
