The Sales Co-op will act in a supporting role for the sales department providing market research, strategy, and creative assistance where applicable.

This position is to support the Sales Representative as requested by management, which can include data entry, file maintenance, and participation in the marketing process.


JOB DUTIES

  • Perform customer service functions by answering general phone calls, and responding to messages within one business day.
  • Updating the marketing aspects of our Web Page.
  • Conduct market research on competitors.
  • Determine target markets and their various characteristics.
  • Help develop and design innovative marketing solutions.
  • Build communication templates.
  • Provide inputs on designs that identify and create interest in the product.
  • Leverage/develop the portfolio of marketing tools and services.
  • Track all marketing initiatives and create weekly/monthly reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Enrolled in a Business, Marketing, or related postsecondary program
  • Able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people
  • Strong morals and ethics, along with a commitment to staff privacy.
  • Excellent understanding and working knowledge of brand building and brand management
  • Proven ability to prepare marketing proposals with a blend of focused research, strategy and creativity
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Energetic, selfmotivated, and resultsoriented
  • Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable

Job Types:
Full-time, Internship / Co-op


Salary:
From $16.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON M9P 2M5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Secondary School (required)
