    Description

    Food Safety Quality Assurance Coordinator Opportunity at Heritage Facility

    The FSQA Coordinator at the Heritage facility plays a critical role in ensuring the effective functioning of food safety programs through various activities and audits. They lead cross-functional teams during audit processes and develop corrective action plans for regulatory and internal findings.

    Snapshot of the Role:

    • Conduct training related to food safety
    • Participate in annual HACCP review and reassessment
    • Coordinate document management for FSQA
    • Maintain and update SOPs and forms
    • Deliver FSQA trainings and participate in relevant projects
    • Manage Pest Control and Inspection programs
    • Update Quality Notifications and reports
    • Perform other assigned duties

    Requirements:

    • Post Secondary education
    • Internal audit experience preferred
    • Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
    • Experience in the food industry
    • Strong communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to work in a cold manufacturing environment
