What you'll do:

Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts
Monitor and analyze demand patterns to forecast future inventory needs
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate demand planning and order fulfillment
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
Manage the supply chain process, including sourcing new suppliers and negotiating contracts
Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to track inventory levels and generate purchase orders
Coordinate with warehouse distribution teams to ensure accurate inventory counts and efficient storage practices
Conduct regular analytics and reporting on inventory performance, identifying areas for improvement
Implement best practices for materials management, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of inventory
Maintain accurate data in inventory management systems, ensuring data integrity and reliability
Generate and issue purchase orders to replenish stock levels and fulfill shop orders in a timely manner
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accurate inventory levels and identify discrepancies promptly.
Collaborate with vendors to secure competitive prices, negotiate terms, and build strong relationships to ensure reliable and costeffective sources of supply.

What you bring to the team:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in inventory management and purchasing roles, preferably in the construction or manufacturing sectors.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
Proficiency in MRP systems and other inventory management software tools
Knowledge of warehouse distribution practices and procedures
