Truck Technician - Toronto, Canada - vTech Solution
Description
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and ensure that all safety practices and procedures arebeing followed at all times, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (steel
toed boots, safety vest, protective eye/face gear, gloves, etc.) for the task at hand.
- Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions using devices such as
- Inspect various parts of trucks, including engines, brake systems, wheel bearings, steering
working order.
- Determine a course of action for repairs and create detailed reports to facilitate work scheduling.
- Interact with customers and stakeholders and provide them with an explanation of required work
- Replace or repair malfunctioning components including parts, valves, bearings and gears as
- Safely use the appropriate tools for the repair such as hand tools (screw drivers, pliers,
wrenches, lathes, welding equipment, jacks and hoists, etc.).
- Road test vehicles when necessary to assist in diagnosing malfunctions or to ensure that the

$16.03-$20.00 per hour
