We are the MIS (Management Information Systems) SRE Infrastructure team at Fortinet.We are passionate about building, improving, and maintaining various information systems that serve our employees worldwide, as well as some consumer-facing services with high traffic volumes around the world.
Service reliability and security is our top priority.As we expand our global deployment of several of services, we are currently seeking for an SRE specialist 2 experienced in
System Administration ,
Automation ,
and Service Reliability Engineering (SRE) who enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible to administrate and maintain different Cloud Infrastructure (Openstack platform, Proxmox, VMware vsphere)
- Maintain large number of Linux/Windows production servers through configuration management tools like Saltstack/Ansible
- UEM(Unified Endpoint Management) Administration to deploy changes to large number of devices
- Be responsible to manage Identity platform (FortiAuthenticator)
- Design, implement and deploy highly available services (by automating service lifecycle).
- Measure, monitor and optimize service performance to meet SLA goals.
- Take lead/ownership to troubleshoot/resolve complex technical problems
- Provide oncall support for our services
Job Experience Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology related field.
- 4+ years Linux system administration experience.
- 3+ Experience with different cloud technologies.
- Good understanding about the information security concepts and technologies, e.g., EDR, SIEM, SAML, OAuth, CIS
- Proficiency over at least one programing language (Python, bash, PowerShell or bash)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, and switching.
- Expertise over automation tools such as Ansible, Saltstack or Terraform.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills under high pressure.
- Helpful and responsive while balancing issue priorities.
Job Experience Preferred:
- Certified RHCE or other equivalent certifications
- Certified Openstack Administrator
- Hands on experience with Kubernetes administration
- Handson Experience with different virtualization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack Prior experience with running and maintaining a 24/7 global service.
