We are looking for an Embalmer join our team in North York at the Simple Alternative Toronto.

Focus primarily on embalming and preparation
Respond to information and service inquiries
Coordinate and/or conduct activities associated with family needs such as services, transfers, preparation of human remains and any other activities associated with their needs
Coordinate the ordering and reconciling of funeral products
Perform other sundry tasks as assigned

Hours/Days of Work:

Schedule is a combination of 7.5hour days, evenings and weekends

Qualifications:

Valid Funeral Director
Class 1 Licence
At least three years' experience as a Licenced Embalmer in a highvolume environment
Funeral directing and arranging experience
A valid Ontario Class "G" driver's licence and clean driving record
Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office
Able to provide funeral services to various faiths and cultures
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Professional demeanour
Keen eye for detail and ability to multitask
