The Marketing Assistant is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and project-related support.
This position will serve as a Company-wide resource to members of Stantec's Marketing, Communications & Public Relations (MCPR) leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate travel, including booking flights, hotels, and car rentals through Stantec's travel booking tool, and complete expense reports, as required
- Coordinate approvals for timecards, vacation requests, expense claims, etc.
- Schedule meetings, often across multiple global time zones, and organize background/support materials, as required
- Organizing and setting up Teams Live meets, as required
- Assist with value list and distribution list maintenance
- Assist with coordinating translation requests, as required
- Special projects and additional assignments, including data review/cleanup and general business administration functions, as assigned
- Acquisition support
- Data entry into marketing systems
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Detail oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills
- Ability to effectively balance conflicting priorities
- Commitment to client service and ability to work in a teamoriented environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior management, supervisors, peers and clients, internally and externally
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a group as well as independently motivated with mínimal supervision
- Must thrive working in a fastpaced environment
Education and Experience
- Postsecondary education in Office Administration, Marketing, Business, or related area
- 35 years of experience in an office environment providing administrative support to professionals
- Previous experience in a marketing or communicationsrelated field within a global organization is considered an asset.
