Description

The warehouse manager assistant needs to provide assistance in the inventory control area, including critical things such as administration and various reporting requirements, including health and safety-related.

Responsibility:

Maintain system by which installers/contractors have needed materials, either via delivery to different job sites or to be picked up
Organize and maintain stock of commonly used products so it's available for walkin customers and installers/contractors
Inspect products for defects and damages.
Monitor supply and demand closely to keep inventory at a minimum
Work with our suppliers to maintain and improve supply chains and procedures
Ensure walkin customers are looked after for material orders and pickups
Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
Maintain vehicle fleet
Manage services for building maintenance, such as snow removal, HVAC, safety equipment such as fire extinguishers
Enforce safety policy and improve safety protocol where needed/identified

Qualification:

A customer serviceoriented team player
Positive attitude
Attention to details
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and solid work ethic
Basic computer skills: ability to use a keyboard and a mouse to correctly collect and enter information into the system
Motivated selfstarter who is willing to work independently and with teams
Skilled in safe forklift driving is an asset
