Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Receiver Non-Ferrous with experience for our Burlington location. Under the supervision of the Yard Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.
- Receive, sort and organize different types of nonferrous metals
- Classify the nonferrous and establish the type of material
- Properly weigh and track the material
- Do general maintenance of the premises
- Ensure the equipment in good condition
- Data entry into the RECY system
- Provide excellent customer service
- Help with torch cutting if necessary
- Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required
- Work with a safety oriented mindset
Qualifications:
- Experience in operating a forklift
- Experience in metal recycling
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good physical fitness
- Ability to work as a team
- Excellent attendance and safety record.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
- Must work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and follow in accordance with AIM's Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Responsible for reporting all accidents, illnesses, or 'near miss' incidents to management
HOURS OF WORK
- Permanent fulltime position
- 44 hours per week, able to work extended hours/weekends when deemed necessary
